How to change the default settings of LibreOffice that apply when opening a new document.

For example, make the default fill colour of shapes in LibreOffice Draw white instead of blue.

  1. Create a document with desired settings
    1. Cmd-T (Format > Styles and Formatting)
    2. Right-click Default
    3. Click Modify…
    4. Make custom settings
    5. Click OK
  2. Save this document as a template and set it as the default template
    1. File > Save as Template…
    2. Enter name
    3. Select New template
    4. Click Set as default

Tested for LibreOffice 4.0.0.3 Draw.
